The property's location was lovely and great, to the beach -- where fireworks were held the night we stayed.

the hotel was in a particularly good location, far away from the station. besides, it was close enough to train stations, downtown and shop and restaurants. there were a safe box, central heating, and an electronic key card in my family room. it had a bidet in the spacious bathroom.

the location was convenient, just a pleasant walk from the station, making it easy to explore nearby eateries and even grab tasty baked goods. our room with a private onsen was a highlight, particularly for our family, as it provided ample space and comfort, including a futon option for extra sleeping arrangements. the staff were friendly and communicated well in english, enhancing our overall experience.
All good, no complaints! 😊.

review: Spacious room with a charming tatami area and a fantastic private hot spring bath made for a relaxing experience. The hotel feels well-maintained, with a lovely outdoor pond adding to the ambiance. Nearby eateries are plentiful, though some amenities in the room could be improved for convenience. , rating: 8, date of stay: 2024-05-10}

I loved the cozy vibe of the place! The public onsen was awesome, and having the option for a private one added a nice touch. It's in a great spot, super close to local restaurants and the beach, making it easy to explore. Plus, the breakfast buffet was one of the best I've had in Japan - really tasty!
But man, the futons were rock hard! I could barely sleep, and the room felt cramped with all the zaisu chairs everywhere. charging for basic stuff like toothbrushes is just weird, especially after paying a hefty price. I noticed a lot of dust in the room too – not cool. not the best experience.

I had to make my own futon, just rude. No one warned me about that, and the check-in staff, well, let's just say their smiles were not genuine. The outdoor onsen is nice, but I expected a complimentary gesture for the inconvenience. Almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.

I had an amazing time here! The room was spacious and included a private onsen, adding that perfect touch of relaxation. The location is super convenient, just a short walk from the train station, and there are plenty of great eateries nearby. Plus, the breakfast spread was very nice-so many delicious options to choose from!
On the downside, the soundproofing isn't great. I did hear some noisy guests in the hallway late at night, which made it a bit hard to settle down. I found the bed a bit too firm for my liking, but overall, it didn't take away from the fantastic experience.

The public bathing area was quite enjoyable and relaxing.
The lack of complimentary amenities was frustrating, especially since we had to pay extra for basic items like toothbrushes. We found the cleanliness lacking in terms of dust accumulation in various spots. Finally, the air conditioning in our room was inadequate and could not be adjusted, limiting our comfort during warmer weather.

The kaiseki dinner was scrumptious and a true highlight! The private onsen in our suite provided a relaxing escape after a day of exploring local gems like Sushi no Suzumaru and Teuchian Matsubara, just a stone's throw away. Plus, the cozy and spacious room.
The walk from the Ito train station felt a bit long without a sidewalk-definitely not ideal with luggage. Making my own futon is a quirky twist I wasn't expecting. The building could use a little sprucing up, and check-in staff were less than cheery, which isn't typical for Japan.

The private onsen bath was AMAZING! The room was spacious and cozy with a tatami area, but the tea table layout made it tricky to lounge around. A good stay 😊
